DFFL 2003 Feel the Pain! Scores for 2003 Week #12

4 outta 5 for the Celts! A couple weeks after the Goth sweep, the Celts turn the tables and take 4 of 5. The Highlanders highlight the near sweep, putting 69 on the division leading Slayers. The win gives the commish his first ever double digit win season and drops the Slayers from the Goth lead. The Cards use 15 from David Akers to take down the FadeFingers. Coronas need Monday night points but get them from Brad Johnson to put down the Generals. Generals had the nice points, but Chad Johnson overwhelms them. The Feds post their second win of the season (a 2 game win streak too) behind Deuce "I Hope My First Name is Really A Nickname" McAllister and send Punch to .500. The disappearance of the Buffalo offense has really killed Punch. Course Fed boy could have played the hottest player in the league Torry Holt and made this one even more lopsided, but he stuck Josh Reed in instead. So how do you bench the hottest player in the league anyway? Do I need to say "hottest player in the league" again? Okay, "hottest player in the league" Torry Holt was on the Federals bench. Again. Feds have won only 2 games. I'm not going to say anything more. Well, maybe just one word: "connection". Think it over. Finally, Focken grabs the division lead and gets hot at the right time with a win on the Fugees. The Fugs can't seem to catch many breaks, despite having at least 4 ProBowl caliber players on the squad.
