Whoa Coronas! Save some of those scores for next week baby! The Coronas make the statement of the playoffs by riding Clinton Portis' DFFL individual record 40 points (at least I think its a record) to a lopsided win over the Cards. The Commish had to sweat Monday night (literally when Martz sent my MVP Wilkins on a rushing attempt) but in the end posted a solid win on the Fugitives. A good team that never caught a break, watch out for the Fugees next season. Over in the Goth playoffs, Finger finally makes good and beats the Slayers in a tie break. There's still a big job ahead though Finger man, as Focken sends Punch home in a close game. In case anyone was watching, the Feds and Generals tied in the Toilet Bowl, with the Generals breaking the tie and posting their third straight Toilet Bowl "title". These teams were getting some props around the USPO, with owners wondering how they missed the playoffs, especially after the good showing from the Generals last week. Let's put it this way, neither team
broke 30, and the average for the 8 playoff teams was 54.6. Throw out the Coronas and Cards (the high and low scorers) to normalize the numbers and the mean was still 53.8. That's pretty much self explanatory.
