All hail the Slayers! Priest, Joe and Hinesy power the Slayers to another 60+ point performance, keeping up the Slayers high scoring tradition. The Generals were no match, getting sad performances from Marshall and his receiving corps. Charlie Garner was a bright spot, but now Warner is hurt and Bulger is a free agent. The A's start strong this year, opening up their title defense with a beat down of a spirited but gimpy (already) Finger squad. Grabbing Seahawks was a good move for Focken A. Over in the Celt division, the Coronas grab the Week 1 lead with a squeaker over the Moss powered Fugitives. Martin Grammatica Automatica stole this one with 5 mighty points on Monday night. Tomlinson disappointed, but Clinton Portis didn't. The Highlanders hold off the Federals despite disappointing performances from basically the whole team. The Commish sweated yet another Monday Nighter, but McNabb couldn't get it going. In the only cross division game, Punch takes out a game Cardinal team that posted one of the best quarterback weeks we've seen in quite a while. But Punch countered with balanced scoring to keep pace with the A's and Slayers.
