Welcome to 2-0 Punch, Coronas and Highlanders. And welcome to 0-2 Generals, Federals and Cardinals. First up, The Highlanders put a serious whippin on the Cards. The Cards 6 point players went AWOL, leaving QB Jerry Jeff Garcia as the lone ranger here. Commish got balance with double digits from Plax, Ricky and Edge. The Coronas had to wait until the 4th quarter on Monday night, but Amani "Its Not a" Toomer came through with double digits to post a nice win on the Slayers, despite Holmes' massive 23. If his RB corps ever gets really going, watch out for the Coronas. Smart keeper pick, smart draft. The Fugitives grab the 1 point squeaker over the Fed. That's twice in a row the Fed has lost close games. In both cases he left David "No Show" Boston in his lineup. Got to grab some I-net info Fed boy and check that "Please Come To" Boston is not practicing, and for Marty ball, if you don't practice, you don't play. Punch uses 3 scores from Travis Henry to send Focken A boy down to defeat, despite Jamal
Lewis's record setting day and huge day from L. Coles too. I'm still not sure how this happened exactly, but I guess it has something to do with Mike "Big Mouth Canadian" Vanderjagt scoring 15 and Marty Booker scoring 0. And finally, Mr. Finger, as he likes to be called, is on the big board with a win over the hapless Generals, the Arizona Cardinals of the DFFL. Just to note the margins, they were 1, 7, 6, 8 and 35.
