Now that's what I'm talking about! Commish gets way right with a trade and some blog smack talk and posts high score of the week (and 4th highest of any team all year) using huge games from What Chu Talking Bout Willis McG, Edge and newly acquired Santana Moss. Feel that sting Corona Boy? 59 and a trifecta from LT2 comes up short son. I just have so much more to say in these notes when I post a big win. It still doesn't get me out of the basement, but I do move from worst team to third worst team. But the march continues. Look out Slayers, you're next. Watch the blog for smack talk! In other news, props to Finger for posting a nice win on the Fugitives. Stephen 'Action' Jackson and the Cincy D came through here. The Cards get nice games from the Tampa D, Chris Brown and Warrick Dunn to beat Cold Beer and stay one up on the Commish. Cards got a balanced team this year, just have to get McNabb healed up and this team will be tough to deal with at crunch time. The A's stay hot and spank the hapless
Generals, who have returned to form after the anomoly of last season. Generals got solid points from Manning, Bell and Jordan, but a deuce from the kicker and 1 from D isn't going to get it. I should know from experience. Slayers look good with balanced scoring (read no goose eggs) and send Punch down to defeat. Notice a trend here? Notice how many times D got mentioned? I wouldn't have figured it, but D scoring is becoming a crucial number. If your D puts up the turnovers, the points add up quick, and its getting hard to win if you take small numbers from that slot. I burned my last transaction grabbing a new D because I got tired of taking small numbers.
