PUNCHEY UPSET, C4 LOCKS UP NUMBER ONE PICK
Coming off a week in which they were shellacked 59-2, the Slayers decided it was time to produce. Using balanced scoring and 3 TD passes from Brad Johnson, the Slayers upset Team Punchey 36-30. Punchey suddenly looks vunerable only one week from the playoffs. The Badfingers used a whopping 18 from Terrell Davis to smack around C4. The loss guarantees C4 the worst record in the league and the number one pick in next year's draft. Word to the league, watch out for the Badfingers. They are as hot as a 2 dollar pistol, and since they move above .500 for the first time, they get to TRASH TALK! The Generals moved to within one game of Team Punchey with a convincing win over the Federals. Barry busted out all over for 2 scores, including his 3rd 80+ yarder of the season. The General's management staff continues to push for yardage scoring next season, but will be denied. The Wahoos again did a put up or shut up job on the Tigers, sweeping the season series. The Tigers have now dropped 3 in a row, but will get healthy next week with a season finale against C4. Finally, in the nailbiter of the week, the Coronas tough out a 3 point win over the Norsemen. Mike Hollis's monster 14 points couldn't overcome 12 from Brett Favre and 12 from "Tommy" Dorsey Levens and his Orchestra.
