SUPER BOWL SET: CORONAS V. PUNCHEY
They were predicted to make it to this game, and they have lived up to expectations. It will be Coronas versus Punchey in the inaugural DFFL Super Bowl. Let's get to the action. First, the Coronas covered the spread and took down the Wahoos as the wheels came off the wagon. Miami's mail it in performance against the Colts hurt the 'Hoos. Karim failed to sky hook in any points from the top of the key, but Steve McNair did post 12. The Coronas got production from everywhere, once again playing just the right guys to get the job done. Green Bay returned to form and provided 21 of the Corona total. In the Microsoft title game, Team Punchey got some balanced scoring to squeak it out over the Generals. Barry's scoreless effort against the Vikes left the rest of the Generals starters to pick up the slack, but only Joey Galloway responded. By the way, Joey's dope. Look out for this guy next year. Herman Moore's last second 1 yarder from Scott Mitchell gave Punchey 10 of his total, and was the difference in the game. Denver's Jason Elam made it a nail biter on Monday Night.

There are Saturday games this week, lineups still due Friday, but changes are due one hour before kickoff on Saturday. No standings report this week, so I put everything in this one.
So the early line has the Coronas as 3 point favorites over the team with the best record in the DFFL. Punchey should get good points from Natrone Means against the Oakland defense, but Mitchell and Moore could get "tuna melted" by the Jets defense. Vikes are at home against the Colts, and after destroying the Fins, the Colts might decide they have something to prove. But Carter should still get a score. Marcus could post 6 against the Saints. I figure Punchey is good for about 25-28 points. The Coronas main arsenal, the Packers, host Buffalo. This should be good for 3 first half scores by Favre and company before Holmgren rests them for the playoffs. Tampa is at home against Chicago, and Chicago whacked them in Soldier field. Dungy will have his guys ready to go, so don't count out Dunn. Jeff George should put a couple over on the Jags secondary, so I look for James Jett to post 6. With Herman banged up, Johnny Morton should get some more chances for the Lions. And Pittsburg at Tennessee should be good for Norm Johnson. I look for about 30-35 from the Coronas.
Good Luck guys! Remember, this is good for office bragging rights all year long.
