Haters take Game of the Week from Wahoos, Seawolves Roughed Up
Week 1 is in the books, and the commish was right on about the game of the week. The Haters got plenty of grief about being an "expansion team", but put the points on the board when it counted, with 2 TD's each from rookie phenom Randy Moss and "Give me the damn ball" Keyshawn Johnson. In other scores, the former Microsoft cream became grounds and fell to the bottom of the cup. Punch went down to the other "replacement" franchise, the Rangers, with Jason Elam the key guy in this one. Punch had the winning margin on the bench with Herman Moore. Play him or trade him Punch! The Generals fell despite Garrison Hearst's big game to the (yes its true) first place Badfingers. The Coronas used a nice 6 from Eddie George to defang the Seawolves, and in the only cross-division game, the Gunmen take one in the gut from the Slayers. This one could have been worse, but the Slayers left Troy Aikman's 18 points (!) on the bench.
