Scoring Breakdown
Wow, what a weekend! First off, the Gunmen give the best defensive performance in franchise history (and nearly in DFFL history) in a huge win over the Moss-less Playa Haters. Ryan Longwell was the big hitter on offense for the Gunmen. The Gunmen finally have some defense, and it shows in a winning record. The Rangers continue their bad streak and fall to the Slayers. Slayers didn't get much, mostly just a Tommy Dorsey Levens touchdown, but it was enough. The Fingers achieve their goals and solidify their hold on first place with a win over the Almost-as-bad-as-the-Rangerhoos. I think the Hoos need to start drinking less, talking less, and listening more at the next draft. The Gunmen are anxious to score 37 on this team this week, what with Eddie George visiting the Browns and the Pack playing San Fran. The Coronas make a major statement with a 30 point whipping of the Generals. Manning, Watters, Harrison and everybody were huge here. Finally Team Punchey makes an even louder statement with a woodshed style beating of the Tiggersharks. The Sharks made a good accounting of themselves, and normally, you score 35, you win. McNair, James (this just in, he's freaking rookie of the year), Williams and Bruce piled up the points. I shudder to think what would have happened if Cris Carter had been playing.
